Rubble

Israel has waged one of this century's most destructive wars in Gaza, according to an investigation by The Washington Post. Satellite technology has revealed the bombing in Gaza is more intense than in Ukraine, Syria or even WWII. According to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Israel has dropped more than 25,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip since October 7. In comparison, the Little Boy nuclear bomb dropped by the United States on Hiroshima during WWII yielded 15,000 tons of high explosives and destroyed everything within a one-mile radius. Nearly half of the Israeli munitions dropped on Gaza are imprecise ‘dumb bombs,’ according to US intelligence. Current estimates of civilian casualties do not include the estimated thousands who are stuck under the rubble, decomposing, as no one is able to reach them and provide them with a respectable burial. These statistics echo the statements made by Israeli army official Daniel Hagari in early October: "The emphasis is on damage and not on accuracy."
